Ouran High School Host Club anime

A few years ago I was handed with Ouran High School Host Club Manga, which I found confusing and did not enjoy much. But when I watched one episode of Ouran High School Host Club Anime on youtube I liked it tremendously. I don't know about everyone else, but i prefer Anime more, all the amazing nonsensical sounds that the characters make and the emotional ways the lines are spoken can never be defined in a manga.

Well Ouran High School Host Club is about 6 very good looking boys and one girl. The story starts with the heroine, Haruhi Fujioka, a female student who won scholarship and starts studying in Ouran, she is dressed very badly therefore mistaken as a boy by the Ouran Host Club. Haruhi walk into the host club's room when she was looking for a quite place to study, the host club start to bombarded her with questions and remarks, backing away, she accidentally hits a 8 Million yen vase that shatters to pieces in slow motion. So from there, she has to start working with the host club to pay off for the vase until graduation. Here's the twist, the host club are the only people who know Haruhi is a girl, she dresses like a boy and is a host.

The Host Club consists of the president, Tamaki Suoh, an annoyingly over-confident, good looking,(very funny) egoistic senior who is the founder of the host club. A club where the members host parties and chat with their female admirers. Tamaki Suoh of course falls for Haruhi since the first day, and every time he does something good or right, that makes you think, well well, he isn't a complete loser, he would remark something like 'There, you are falling for me now, right?' to Haruhi.

The vice president of the club Kyoya Ootori is a calculating, shadow king (the person who is actually controlling everything and making it seem like Tamaki thought of it all by himself). He is often refered to 'Mother' by Tamaki, which he replies to 'Yes, Father?', this is because he is the vice president to Tamaki and also the closest friend, (who Tamaki often whines to).

Hikaru and Kaoru Hitachiin are identical twins who are knowns as little devil types. These two twins are life of the party because of the tricks, jokes, pranks and drama that they present. Also Tamaki likes to call them 'side-homo characters', which brings funny reaction and revenges. Hikaru and Kaoru are popular in the host club because of their over exaggerated brotherly love which drives the ladies crazy. Haruhi is in the same class with the twins which makes Tamaki extremely jealous.

The two last characters also stick to each other a lot, Mitsukuni Haninozuka, AkA Honey, and Takashi Morinozuka AKA Mori. Honey is a senior and an excellent student, but he does not look the part at all. He portrays a more boy-lolita type because of his young elementary school boy looks. Mori is also a tall, dark, senior and is Honey's classmate, he is a very silent character, you will only hear him say, 'yes' or something like that in an entire episode. But Mori is a kind of Honey's guardian/bodyguard.

Season 1 contains 27 episodes only and there aren't any news about a season two launch, sadly. The Host Club is one of the funny and lighter Anime that is fun to watch.
